The UK Ministry of Defence has launched Project Wayfinder, a forward-leaning initiative to enhance the resilience and reliability of Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT) capabilities across uncrewed systems operating in contested and GNSS-denied environments. The project focuses on the development and evaluation of cutting-edge PNT sensor fusion technologies to maintain operational effectiveness in the face of jamming, spoofing and other forms of interference.

 

As part of this project, Archangel Autonomy (formerly Archangel Imaging) have been tasked to collect information from organisations offering relevant PNT fusion engines, sensors, and enabling technologies. Suppliers are invited to provide details of their existing capabilities, products, and solutions which may contribute to the aims of the programme.

 

The information gathered will be reviewed and collated into a market report to inform ongoing development decisions within the MOD. Participation in this market survey is not part of a formal procurement process, but it is an opportunity for suppliers to highlight their technologies and help shape the direction of future capability development under Project Wayfinder.
